MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Direct Hire Opportunity Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment, facilities, and utilities through proactive maintenance strategies and strong team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in industrial maintenance, experience leading maintenance teams, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on production performance, equipment reliability, and overall operational success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reduce unexpected downtime. Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians by providing training, scheduling support, and performance management. Coordinate maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, boilers, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructure. Troubleshoot and provide guidance on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing issues. Partner with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to align maintenance activities with production goals and lean manufacturing initiatives. Monitor equipment performance and analyze maintenance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Manage maintenance budgets, labor resources, and spare parts inventory to ensure efficient use of resources. Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors and service providers. Ensure accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment histories, and compliance documentation are maintained. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and asset longevity. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Previous supervisory or management experience leading maintenance teams. Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and best practices. Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, boilers, HVAC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Experience managing maintenance budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintenance tracking software preferred. Ability to analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
