REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, facilities management, or a related field or Minimum of five (5) years experience in any of the following: construction, engineering, maintenance, facility planning and/or site acquisition. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in facility maintenance and construction Experience in HVAC systems, energy management, or public sector capital projects preferred Clear and valid Texas driver's license Strong organizational communication & interpersonal skills
PREFERRED
Master's Degree; and Asbestos certification or experience; and Heavy emphasis in commercial building maintenance and construction. The role of the Director, Facilities/Maintenance is to provide administrative expertise and knowledge of building maintenance, and custodial training services that will provide for a smoothly functioning district program of renovation, facility planning, estimating and reporting progress to central administration. The director is to assume responsibility for repairs and preventative maintenance procedures. The above duties are to be conducted in a manner consistent with board policy and with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies.
