We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at a major port facility. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of all mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems. Your leadership will drive maintenance excellence, optimize facility performance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across all port facilities, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and industrial equipment. Lead a team of technicians and maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency. Oversee troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure operational reliability. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints while maintaining safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs; utilize maintenance management best practices to improve operational workflows. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, high voltage systems, and environmental standards. Requirements Proven management experience supervising maintenance teams within industrial or manufacturing settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks. Electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, CMMS software, and general facilities management principles. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination across departments. Experience working with maintenance management systems to schedule work orders and track asset performance. Familiarity with safety protocols related to industrial environments, including working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
