This individual will be responsible for ensuring the property is safe, clean, and operating efficiently while providing an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills, experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance, and a commitment to preventative maintenance and guest satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel. Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, mechanical equipment, and building systems. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues professionally. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance issues. Maintain the property's preventative maintenance program in accordance with Hilton brand standards. Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure they meet company quality standards. Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and vendors when necessary. Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and required documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire safety, and local building regulations. Monitor maintenance inventory and order supplies as needed. Assist with capital improvement projects and renovations. Participate in the hotel's emergency response procedures and be available for occasional after-hours emergencies. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills for work orders and maintenance tracking. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated positions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
