Property Manager Position Overview A growing multifamily management organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at an apartment community. This role is responsible for maintaining the property's physical condition, safety, and curb appeal through strong leadership, preventative maintenance, and timely completion of service requests. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and experienced in supervising maintenance teams in a multifamily environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs. Prioritize, assign, and complete maintenance work orders efficiently and accurately. Coordinate apartment unit turns to ensure homes are market-ready and meet leasing timelines. Supervise, train, and develop maintenance team members; assist with hiring and onboarding. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs. Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal standards are met. Order materials, manage inventory, and coordinate vendors while adhering to budget guidelines. Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and completed repairs. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs. Promote and enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance at all times. Qualifications 3-5 years of multifamily maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred. EPA Type II or Universal HVAC Certification required. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems. Proven leadership, organizational, and delegation skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as required. Must pass background check and drug screening.
