About the Role As a Plant Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a skilled technical team to ensure the peak performance and reliability of our industrial infrastructure and heavy equipment fleet. You will drive operational excellence by optimizing maintenance workflows, ensuring strict safety compliance, and managing complex repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Responsibilities Direct and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of professional development and safety. Oversee the end-to-end maintenance lifecycle for industrial plant machinery, welding systems, and heavy-duty DOT fleets. Utilize digital CMMS platforms to schedule, track, and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping. Manage procurement of parts and materials, balancing repair quality with cost-efficiency to meet budgetary targets. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to maintain high standards of workmanship and team accountability. Implement and uphold 5-S methodologies to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Perform advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose equipment failures and execute effective repairs. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to federal, state, and local safety regulations and internal compliance standards. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or skilled trades. Proven leadership ability in managing technical crews and scheduling complex workflows. Strong proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Valid driver's license and ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs. Preferred Skills Experience with digital maintenance management software (CMMS). Advanced knowledge of diesel engine systems and heavy equipment diagnostics. Certification or formal training in industrial electricity or welding. Demonstrated success in managing fleet compliance and preventative maintenance programs.
