Manager Salary:
$145,000 - $160,000 per year Job Details - Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead all maintenance and facilities operations across multiple manufacturing locations. Direct maintenance technicians and mechanics while providing coaching, training, and development. Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, repair, and reliability of production equipment. Develop, implement, and improve preventive maintenance programs aligned with OEM standards and plant KPIs. Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, scheduling, asset tracking, labor planning, and maintenance execution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout maintenance operations. Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs and implement corrective actions to close performance gaps. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective action implementation. Manage refrigeration, freezer, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility systems. Partner with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Manage contractor relationships and oversee maintenance-related projects. Ensure proper spare parts inventory, maintenance tools, and consumable management. Support capital equipment planning, facility modifications, and equipment acquisitions. Maintain compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, OSHA, and applicable regulations. Support budgeting, cost control, and maintenance financial performance. Travel regularly between company locations to support maintenance operations.
Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2+ years of Maintenance Management experience. Strong maintenance leadership experience within food manufacturing. Previous experience in cold chain operations with heavy refrigeration and freezer assets. Experience supporting packaging and processing equipment. Strong CMMS experience (eMaint/X5 preferred). Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs. Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, OSHA, and EPA requirements. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience. Proven ability to lead maintenance teams, prioritize resources, and improve equipment reliability. Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventories, and contractors. Ability to travel between multiple facilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
