This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient operations, safety, and compliance by strategic management of engineering resources, process flows, technical data, and maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities Program Implementation:

Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program, with a strong emphasis on preventative/predictive maintenance and facility upkeep.

CMMS Oversight:

Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, manage spare parts inventory, and maintain rigorous maintenance histories for all plant equipment.

Leadership & Staff Management Team Guidance:

Coordinate and manage all maintenance staff and daily activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Development & Safety:

Supervise maintenance associates, ensuring ongoing technical training, professional development, strict safety assurance, and collaborative relations with operations.

Performance & Continuous Improvement Operational Excellence:

Deliver maintenance programs focused on OEE-based performance and industry Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards.

Lean Mindset:

Drive continuous improvement across maintenance and production operations with a dedicated focus on waste reduction.

Financial & Strategic Oversight Budgeting:

Manage the maintenance department budget and leverage historical data to make strategic recommendations for cost savings.

CapEx:

Manage and execute complex capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from conception to completion.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting (required). Proven track record of managing large capital projects (required).

Technical Skills:

Expert mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. High proficiency with computer systems, including CMMS.
