This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient operations, safety, and compliance by strategic management of engineering resources, process flows, technical data, and maintenance technicians.
Key Responsibilities Program Implementation:
Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program, with a strong emphasis on preventative/predictive maintenance and facility upkeep.CMMS Oversight:
Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, manage spare parts inventory, and maintain rigorous maintenance histories for all plant equipment.Leadership & Staff Management Team Guidance:
Coordinate and manage all maintenance staff and daily activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.Development & Safety:
Supervise maintenance associates, ensuring ongoing technical training, professional development, strict safety assurance, and collaborative relations with operations.Performance & Continuous Improvement Operational Excellence:
Deliver maintenance programs focused on OEE-based performance and industry Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards.Lean Mindset:
Drive continuous improvement across maintenance and production operations with a dedicated focus on waste reduction.Financial & Strategic Oversight Budgeting:
Manage the maintenance department budget and leverage historical data to make strategic recommendations for cost savings.CapEx:
Manage and execute complex capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from conception to completion.Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting (required). Proven track record of managing large capital projects (required).Technical Skills:
Expert mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. High proficiency with computer systems, including CMMS.Core Competencies:
