MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, NIGHTS ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Blue United Sourcing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on behalf of a global leader in manufacturing. This role is responsible for supervising a team of maintenance professionals while ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production and facility equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence through safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and employee development. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance professional with industrial manufacturing experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership or further develop their supervisory career in a highly respected manufacturing environment.
OVERVIEW
Location:
Garland, TX Schedule:
Night Shift. 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | 2-2-3 Rotating (2 on, 2 off, 3 on one week; 2 off, 2 on, 3 off next week). Alternate weekends.
Compensation:
$74,934 - $94,520, depending on experience. Plus yearly performance bonus opportunity, 401K match, Pension Plan eligibility, etc,

Direct Hire Required Experience:
Demonstrated leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a mechanic or technician in manufacturing, distribution, operations, or a related industrial environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee maintenance operations during the night shift. Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance team members. Manage employee training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions. Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance activities to support production goals. Ensure the safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures. Monitor productivity, quality, and maintenance performance metrics. Collaborate with production teams, vendors, and internal departments to schedule and complete maintenance work. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate business objectives and operational updates. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root-cause analysis efforts. Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and operational excellence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
What we Need to
See:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, operations, or a related industrial environment. At least one (1) year of demonstrated leadership experience. Ability to lead independently during an off-shift operation with limited administrative support. Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Strongly Preferred:
Associate degree or higher in Maintenance, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Three (3) or more years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Three (3) or more years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or root-cause analysis. Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS) and timekeeping systems. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and team development skills.
