This role supports store leadership by supervising cashiers and service desk associates, maintaining efficient checkout flow, ensuring cash handling accuracy, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Front-End Operations Supervise daily operations of checkstands, self-checkout, and service desk Manage staffing levels to ensure efficient customer flow and minimize wait times Support opening, closing, and shift transitions Monitor front-end performance and address operational issues in real time Customer Service Deliver and model excellent customer service standards Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally Assist with returns, exchanges, and service desk transactions Create a welcoming and positive shopping environment Cash Handling & Compliance Ensure register accuracy and proper cash handling procedures Perform till counts, audits, pickups, and end-of-day balancing Enforce company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices Maintain accountability to minimize shrink and errors Team Leadership Train, coach, and develop front-end associates Delegate tasks and ensure completion of daily priorities Promote teamwork, efficiency, and accountability Maintain a positive, professional work environment Store Communication & Support Communicate promotions, updates, and expectations to front-end team Coordinate with other department leaders to support overall store operations Assist with scheduling and coverage as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cashier, front-end, or customer service experience required Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent walking, bending, and reaching Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Work Environment Retail grocery setting Fast-paced, high customer interaction environment Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay- , PTO/Vacation pay
