Killeen, TX Pay:
$25.00 per hour Job Summary Liberty Rentals is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our 51-unit duplex community in Killeen, Texas. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced apartment maintenance professional who enjoys balancing resident work orders, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance, and property improvement projects while helping coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team. We are a locally owned property management company—not a large corporate operation. We value professionalism, accountability, quality workmanship, and treating our residents with respect.   • Coordinate daily maintenance priorities and assist in directing maintenance staff.
  • Balance resident work orders with apartment make-readies to minimize vacancy time.
  • Complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
  • Perform apartment turns, including repairs, painting, punch-out work, and inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, doors, windows, flooring, appliances, and other building components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
  • Maintain the swimming pool, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
  • Assist with exterior maintenance, fencing, painting, and general property improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional community environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance priorities, inventory needs, and project status.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard of quality. Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating maintenance personnel is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of apartment make-readies and resident work order management.
  • Experience with appliance repair.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Must provide your own basic maintenance tools.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation & Employment Details
  • $25.00 per hour
  • Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit or check
  • Full-time position
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • At-will employment with a 90-day introductory period
