The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance repair procedures, supervising facilities maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA. This role requires a proactive leader with mechanical knowledge, project management expertise, and excellent team management skills to maintain optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems. The Superintendent will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and ensure all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with engineering troubleshooting standards. Duties Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other industrial equipment. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Manage facilities management projects from planning through execution, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Utilize CMMS software to schedule maintenance tasks, track work orders, monitor equipment performance, and generate reports for continuous improvement. Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including schematics), HVAC systems repair, and plumbing repairs using tools like ohmmeters and schematics. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, maintaining safety documentation, and training staff on proper procedures. Oversee the management of facilities infrastructure including electrical systems (high voltage/low voltage), HVAC units, plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment to maximize operational efficiency. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance using appropriate documentation tools. Foster a culture of teamwork by providing leadership that motivates staff to meet operational goals while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven management experience in facilities maintenance or industrial environments with a strong background in supervising teams. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, electrical systems (high voltage/low voltage), plumbing system maintenance and repair. Proficiency in using schematics, Ohmmeters, CMMS software, Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols across facilities. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Hands-on experience troubleshooting engineering issues related to mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance procedures. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and stakeholder engagement. Ability to interpret technical diagrams such as schematics for electrical or mechanical troubleshooting. Knowledge of managing facilities maintenance teams within a fast-paced environment ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency are maintained at all times.
