McKinney, TX Job Details Full-time $21.63 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Driver's License Construction industry experience Computer skills Full Job Description Performs complex (senior-level) construction, restoration, renovation, and maintenance work. Work involves building repair, renovation, restoration, and alteration for the designated trade skill. May serve as a lead worker providing direction to others. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Assists with the maintenance ticket management system, assigning work, and maintaining records. May move furniture. Maintains a knowledge of budget related functions as associated with maintenance costs. Requisitions or purchases materials and equipment, maintains records of materials used, calculates material and labor costs, and orders parts and supplies to complete work orders. Organizes and performs preventive maintenance Program. Assists in supervising contract workers related to building maintenance. Performs related work as assigned. Education, Training, & Experience (including licensure & certification) Experience in construction, maintenance, and repair work. Graduated from a standard senior high school or equivalent, supplemented by vocational training is preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Must have a valid Texas Driver License. General computer knowledge is a must. HVAC certifications preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of construction, repair, maintenance, and operation of buildings, equipment, and utility systems, of building materials, and tools. Skill in equipment and electronic maintenance, in selecting appropriate tools and equipment, and in troubleshooting situations to determine appropriate actions to resolve problems. Ability to organize preventive maintenance programs, to apply proper methods, techniques, and procedures in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, and blueprints, to communicate effectively and to serve as a lead worker providing direction to others. On call response during and after operating hours. Perform regular inspections.
Manage and maintain building systems:
Fire Alarms, Elevators, HVAC, Irrigation, and other systems. Manages Maintenance Technicians.
