What You'll Do As our Lead Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical leadership role in maintaining the equipment that powers our manufacturing facility. You'll work alongside operations, engineering, and safety teams to maximize equipment reliability while mentoring other maintenance technicians. In this role, you will: Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime Support machine installations, changeovers, and equipment improvements Coach and develop maintenance team members Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory Promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement Help improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency through root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance initiatives What We're Looking For We're searching for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in solving problems before they become bigger issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or associate degree preferred) 5-10 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and industrial electrical systems Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop others Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Ability to work overtime as needed and travel occasionally to our North Carolina operation (company-paid travel) Why You'll Love Working at Keysteel At Keysteel, your work matters.
