Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Superintendent to lead and oversee the maintenance and operational functions of our facilities. In this vital role, you will manage maintenance teams, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and coordinate the repair and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability across all facility operations, ensuring a safe and productive environment for all team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your management expertise and technical knowledge to support our manufacturing or industrial operations. Responsibilities Develops/Conveys Project Setup and Strategy
- Schedule
- Exhibit X (Phasing, Logistics, Efficient Workflow)
- Assists Precon strategy (reviews sub contracts, scope meeting)
- Labor planning and management
- Consistent and predictable workflow Quality Assurance
- Holistic oversight of Quality Program
- Sets quality expectations for project
- Holds team accountable for quality expectations Manage Risk
- Identifies risk proactively
- Promotes risk awareness / communication
- Takes proper action to protect interests Scheduling
- Schedules creator, driver, communicator & collaborator
- Provides direction for changes
- Updates & ensures schedule progression
- Manages all aspects of schedule (critical path, material support, manpower, work flow / logic)
- Identifies problems & recovery plans Meetings
- Facilitates & ensures issues are addressed appropriately
- Brings accountability and energy to meetings
- Promotes communication between teams
- Ensures team is prepared with a plan Builder Expertise
- Plan review with team
- Develops associates (personalized project training)
- Shares knowledge with team
- Shares & implements lessons learned Cost & Change Management
- Takes ownership for overall cost of the job
- Creates / Reviews crew sizes
- Builds / Manages L's and M's
- Reviews cost projection for accuracy
- Reviews billing / projections with TRE
