In addition to our in-house team, ATC partners with a trusted network of subcontractors to deliver commercial repair, maintenance, and remodeling services across Texas. We proudly serve Houston and the surrounding metropolitan area with high-quality, responsive facility solutions. Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Project Manager is responsible for overseeing construction, renovation, reactive maintenance, and preventative maintenance projects while supporting daily field operations. This role works closely with coordinators to schedule work orders, assists technicians in the field, and serves as the primary liaison between corporate customers, facilities managers, subcontractors, and internal leadership. This individual must have strong experience in construction and facilities maintenance , along with extensive experience in quoting and invoicing . The role requires mechanical aptitude across trades including plumbing, electrical, structural, and general commercial repairs, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage commercial construction, repair, and maintenance projects from start to completion. Define project scope, prepare detailed quotes, develop timelines, and manage budgets. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Review, prepare, and submit accurate project-related invoices while ensuring proper cost tracking and billing. Serve as the liaison between corporate customers, facilities managers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Provide regular client updates and manage expectations proactively. Work closely with coordinators to schedule work orders and procure necessary materials. Hire, train, and develop field technicians. Oversee technicians in the field, ensuring quality work and proper documentation (photos, notes, system entries). Decipher and professionally re-word technician notes for client communication. Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance across multiple trades. Coordinate projects, emergencies, and overflow reactive maintenance as needed. Conduct safety discussions and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Communicate operational updates and project progress to the Vice President in a timely manner. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in commercial maintenance and construction (required). 5+ years of experience preparing quotes and managing invoicing (required). Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, structural, and mechanical systems. Strong understanding of commercial parts and materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills using proper technical terminology. Customer service-oriented with strong relationship management abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented, organized, self-directed, and accountable. Effective leader with experience in team development and motivation. Qualifications High School diploma/GED or trade school equivalent. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Reliable transportation and smartphone proficiency. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Availability after hours and weekends to assist technicians and respond to client emergencies as needed.
