This leadership role involves managing a team of technicians and maintenance staff to ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and facilities management. They will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence and reliability. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across all plant departments, ensuring timely resolution of equipment issues. Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime. Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), high voltage, and low voltage systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage facilities management tasks including building repairs, HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and infrastructure upgrades. Oversee the installation, calibration, and repair of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components critical to manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage), machinery operation, and industrial maintenance standards. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools; coordinate procurement in collaboration with procurement teams. Train and supervise maintenance staff in technical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in industrial maintenance. Utilize CMMS software for work order management, tracking maintenance history, and generating reports for management review. Lead projects related to equipment upgrades or new installations while managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance supervision within a manufacturing environment. Strong management skills with demonstrated supervisory experience leading technical teams. Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise including high voltage and low voltage systems. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance management; ability to analyze data for continuous improvement. Must have minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role Must be bilingual in language and writing Must have technical skill /knowledge for troubleshooting 480v electrical with 120v control circuitry Must be able to correctly diagnose trouble shooting of electrical circuitry Must have 2 years prior experience of working in and implementing a preventive maintenance program Must be able to use computer regarding email, word, excel etc..
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
