As a Supervisor Maintenance you will Analyze work requirements and direct the work of others in the performance of various assigned maintenance duties. Work under a Superintendent and move up to that position to fill absences. Function as Work Order Planner as needed. Work with management to coordinate the maintenance and equipment needs of the refinery. You can help achieve this goal if you can: Ensure maintenance hourly activities/work orders are implemented in a safe and productive manner. Provide direction to crafts persons to ensure the highest level of safety, productivity, work quality and reliability. Communicate daily activities related to manpower, accomplishments and problem areas to supervision. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedures and manuals using Windows-based computer systems. Provide training, development and performance appraisal of craft employees. Hold Tool box meetings and inspections necessary to achieve safety goals. Oversee designated area work activities during unit turnarounds and outages and reports to Turnaround Supervision. Assist craftsperson in solving complex equipment problems. Provide a high level of troubleshooting skills. Determine the most efficient and safest work methods. Communicate daily with supervision as to status of ongoing work and manpower needs. Maintain good written records and utilizes SAP effectively. Perform estimates for maintenance and repair costs. Manage a large number of projects concurrently. Produce work order/permit. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is salaried nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
