Our commitment to innovation is driven by the collective expertise and passion of our team, making EKHO not just a workplace, but a community dedicated to shaping the future of construction Position Summary The Maintenance Supervisor provides hands-on leadership and oversight of plant maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for implementing and managing a preventive maintenance program, coordinating repairs, supervising maintenance personnel, and working closely with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a key role in improving plant infrastructure, maintaining material handling and production equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring that all maintenance activities support operational productivity and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage a preventive maintenance (PM) program to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life. Supervise daily maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and facility maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and coordinate repair of production equipment, including mixers, batching systems, conveyors, forklifts, cranes, and other precast manufacturing equipment. Oversee ordering and inventory management of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. Establish and maintain working relationships with equipment vendors, parts suppliers, and third-party maintenance contractors. Lead projects to remove obsolete or unused equipment, air lines, and electrical supply systems that are no longer in service. Support capital improvement and plant infrastructure projects aimed at improving efficiency and safety. Coordinate maintenance work with production schedules to minimize disruption to operations. Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs, and documentation related to repairs, inspections, and PM schedules. Train and mentor maintenance technicians and assist with developing maintenance procedures and best practices. Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and facility systems to identify potential issues before failure occurs. Support plant housekeeping and facility upkeep related to maintenance activities. Perform other duties assigned by the Plant Manager. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred. 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or precast concrete environment. 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding. Experience implementing or managing preventive maintenance programs. Familiarity with plant equipment such as mixers, batching systems, conveyors, forklifts, overhead cranes, and hydraulic systems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience coordinating contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects. Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and maintenance tracking systems preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, operations, and management teams. Ability to work in a hands-on supervisory role in an active industrial environment. Valid driver's license required. Working Environment This position operates within a manufacturing facility. The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, with exposure to dust, heavy machinery, moving equipment, and varying noise levels (moderate to high). The role may require standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting materials or tools (up to 50 lbs.). Proper use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, steel-toed/metatarsal boots, and high-visibility clothing is required at all times.
