Facilities Maintenance Manager Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond Norfolk, VA Job Details Full-time $45,973.20 - $51,087.40 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Physical security Workplace safety Contract management experience in education Contracts Purchasing Air conditioning Terms and conditions negotiation Full Job Description The Facilities Maintenance Manager at Saint Pius X works with the pastor, principal, and parish and school staff in the development and management of building operations (including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and security/energy systems), capital improvement planning, asset replenishment, and buildings and grounds maintenance. The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring applicable diocesan and facilities policies and standards are implemented by the parish and school, including property and risk management policies. The Facilities Manager oversees the building, grounds, and maintenance for the Saint Pius X campus, which includes the parish, school, and rectory (priest's residence). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field Designation as Facilities Manager Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) is desirable Working knowledge of contract negotiations, facilities and maintenance management (including dedicated HVAC systems), workplace safety and security, and purchasing procedures is required Possesses initiative; self-direction; leadership abilities in planning, administration, volunteer management Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, displaying tolerance and sensitivity Knowledgeable of Word for Windows, Excel, Outlook, cloud-based programs; ability to work with various computer programs, e.g., phone system, access control system, etc. Strong verbal and communication skills to interact with pastor; principal; parish and school staff; and parish and school community Ability to work independently and organize and arrange priorities, completing tasks in a timely manner Ideal candidate is practicing Roman Catholic, though not required; candidates should be supportive of the mission of the Catholic Church Required documents: Resume, Cover letter, References.
