As the Maintenance Director, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and appearance of our community, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems, managing building systems, and making a meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of the building, grounds, and facility systems. Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs to ensure the community remains safe and well-maintained. Utilize strong handyman skills, including experience in two or more trades such as electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing. Complete drywall repairs, painting, and general maintenance projects. Maintain the interior and exterior of the community to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances, office equipment, maintenance equipment, and grounds equipment. Ensure all maintenance supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment are stored safely and comply with safety regulations. Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation as needed. Protect the community during inclement weather by assisting with snow removal, salting, shoveling, storm preparation, and emergency response. Foster a positive, customer-focused experience by interacting professionally with residents, families, and team members.
