Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment at Klann Plastics, to include manufacturing, storage, shipping and receiving, office areas, and other physical building areas. Maintenance to be performed will cover mechanical, electrical (up to and including three phase 480 volts), hydraulics, pneumatics, and some fabrication. The chosen candidate must be able to work alone or as a member of a team with little or no supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates maintenance activities with management and equipment operators, in a timely, efficient, and safe manner Apply maintenance troubleshooting skills in a wide variety of machine applications in response to production requirements Troubleshoot control wiring, relay logic, programmable controllers, motor drive circuits, control system devices, photo-electric sensors, limit/proximity switches, and transducers Utilize digital voltmeter/ohmmeter/ammeter to diagnose electrical problems Perform and record mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installation, repair and service of machinery and support systems as required Perform and record system preventive maintenance, including electrical and mechanical adjustments, inspections and repairs on plant equipment as necessary, and identify any issues Prioritizes repairs due to machine breakdowns over projects and other tasks Maintains and organizes the maintenance area for storage of parts and equipment Maintains an organized clean and safe work and material storage area Communicate with shift management and machine operators to stay abreast of what is happening with manufacturing equipment Work with outside service providers as required to organize required Federal, State, and City inspections and service Comply with area Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and of company assets Any/all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, it is desirable that an individual can perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Able to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals with understanding Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits including 480 volt three phase Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to plumb and install air and water lines Able to climb stairs and ladders Problem solving, time management, and communication skills a must

Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
