Job Description

The Maintenance Inventory Manager is responsible for leading and improving inventory operations within the Maintenance Department. This position oversees inventory control, purchasing, forecasting, financial tracking, compliance documentation, and operational workflows to support efficient resort-wide maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain inventory management systems and workflows to improve efficiency, organization, and accuracy. Oversee inventory purchasing, forecasting, budgeting, and cost tracking to support departmental and resort priorities. Coordinate special orders, preventative maintenance inventory planning, and large-scale purchasing projects. Manage warranty and returns processes, ensuring proper documentation and follow-through. Lead annual and bi-annual inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory and asset records. Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure inventory-related documentation remains compliant and accessible. Supervise Maintenance Dispatch and Administrative staff, supporting scheduling, workflow coordination, training, and communication. Collaborate with maintenance leadership, technicians, and supervisors to improve processes and support operational goals. Build and maintain asset tracking records for appliances, furniture, equipment, and other high-value items throughout the resort.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and process improvement abilities. Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations, or related fields. Hospitality, facilities management, or maintenance experience preferred. Experience developing or implementing inventory management systems. High proficiency with inventory software systems, Excel, and general computer applications.
