Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Washington State (North of Seattle) Days (Flexibility Required) Food Manufacturing $120,000 - $150,000 + Relocation Package A leading food manufacturing company in Washington State is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all plant maintenance operations and drive equipment reliability with minimal downtime. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing preventative maintenance programs, managing skilled technicians, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production operations. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Maintenance Department to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency Work closely with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to address equipment breakdowns and minimize disruption Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules and reliability programs Establish and manage spare parts inventory procedures to ensure critical components are available Oversee maintenance personnel including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and timecard approvals Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards Collaborate with Plant Management on capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring equipment and service expenditures align with financial objectives Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime and improving plant performance

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager within food manufacturing Strong background in preventative maintenance systems and reliability programs Experience leading maintenance teams in a high-speed production environment Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) Experience working with vendors, contractors, and capital project management
