Job Description

Pacific Crest Real Estate is a leading property management company based in Seattle, Washington. We offer professional management services for multi-family properties in King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap counties. It is our mission to build strong and vibrant communities by providing quality living space for residents and supporting the community they live in. We are searching for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor for one residential property located in the Kent and Tacoma. We are looking for a candidate who has experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, electrical, painting & plumbing to join the team. This position oversees and performs technical & mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas of the community meet the standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Building maintenance, including completing work orders in occupied apartments, turnover work in vacant apartments Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete Perform basic to intermediate plumbing duties such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, replacing water heater elements, etc. Conduct basic to intermediate electrical (license not required) such as replacing fixtures and outlets Replace kitchen sinks, window screens, garbage disposal, blinds, fixtures, hardware, other appliances, interior and exterior painting Perform light carpentry and drywall work Assist with special projects as needed Desired Skills Positive attitude and ability to provide high level of customer service to residents Ability to coordinate with teammates, residents, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner Excellent time management with the ability to balance multiple projects at once General labor including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and other custodial work Basic carpentry work such as drywall repairs, fitting doors, and use of hand and power tools Light electrical work such as replacing fixtures and outlets Light plumbing work such as unclogging drains and replacing fittings Basic appliance maintenance Possess good communication skills both, verbal and written Ability to troubleshoot Qualifications and requirements include: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience within supervising a maintenance team Minimum of 2 years' experience in apartment maintenance required Great customer service, trustworthy Demonstrated proficiency in areas of light plumbing and electrical Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, push and pull up to 100lbs daily Basic computer skills are a must, must be able to enter work order status update Knowledge of AppFolio is a plus Drug screen and background check required post offer/pre-employment
