Saturday:
Must be comfortable driving the community van on an as needed basis. This role requires you to perform maintenance work, manage the department team, and oversee outside vendors. You are expected to take a hands-on approach, not just supervise. Be prepared to handle both daily repairs and team coordination. Construction and Maintenance Experience Preferred!: As Maintenance Director, you will repair and maintain our community, equipment, safety systems while adhering to regulatory guidelines and testing protocol.:
You Will:
Prefer Senior Living Environmental Experience regarding state and federal physical plant regulation include fire, life and safety. Maintain common areas, offices, resident rooms, equipment, exterior and grounds of the community Follow and document the preventative maintenance programs for the community and equipment Train emergency mitigation protocol and safety information for employees Refurbish resident rooms between tenants Work a flexible schedule, including on-call, for resident safety Avoid loss, breakage, and waste of supplies and equipment
You Currently:
Work safely and recognize/resolve potentially dangerous situations Have three years of related experience in electrical repairs, plumbing, or carpentry and experience with cost management and budgeting Relate positively and communicate appropriately with others Work independently Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population Read, write, speak, and understand English. Lift and move up to 50 pounds
