Job Description

We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor You know that person who walks into a room, notices three things that need attention, already has a plan, and somehow never loses their cool? That's who we need. Not just a wrench-turner. Not just a task-checker. A genuine problem-solver who can lead a team, navigate a work order system, coordinate with contractors, and still have a sense of humor at the end of the day. The Polynesian Rentals manages vacation rental condos in Ocean Shores, Washington. Our properties don't maintain themselves (we've tried asking nicely, didn't work), so we're hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to help run the operation. What this job actually looks like: You'll manage a small maintenance team, set schedules, and keep the work moving. You'll be our point of contact with outside contractors when the job calls for it. You'll use a technology-based work order platform to track, assign, and close out jobs, so basic computer and smartphone literacy isn't optional. You'll handle ordering supplies and equipment. And you'll think creatively when a problem doesn't come with a manual, which in our world is most of the time. The actual maintenance work is a mix of interior and exterior tasks across our properties: painting, patching, appliances, fixtures, doors, common areas, pools, spas, and everything in between. You will also be responsible for overseeing large capital improvement projects, down to running toilets. You'll also need your own tools and a reliable vehicle.
Where this role can go:
We're a growing company. Our top four people started at the entry level and built real careers here. This role has room to grow into a broader operations or admin capacity for the right person. We notice strong work. We compensate for it. What's in it for you: health insurance subsidized at 70%, fully paid life insurance up to 10,000.00, Sick time up to 40 hours, a free two-night stay at any one of our properties after your first year, your birthday off every year, and 80 hours of vacation pay after your first year. They say a good maintenance person can fix anything with duct tape and determination. We'd prefer you use the right tools, but we respect the energy.
