  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Attendant to join our dynamic facilities team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our buildings and equipment, supporting a safe and efficient environment. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance will help keep our operations running seamlessly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills, leadership abilities, and customer service focus in a fast-paced setting dedicated to excellence. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain facility operations. Use schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose issues and plan repairs effectively. Conduct welding and residential painting as needed to repair or improve facility structures. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to troubleshoot automation systems and electrical circuits. Supervise or assist with manufacturing or production equipment maintenance to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by inspecting facilities, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to industry standards. Lead small teams or supervise maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields with a strong mechanical and electrical background. Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems. Hands-on experience with welding, residential painting, and using tools such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork. Supervising experience or leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to guide others effectively. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately for maintenance tasks. Customer service mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
