What You'll Do:
Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to maintenance team; assign and prioritize workloads. Coordinate and adjust schedules to meet operational needs across multiple properties. Train and onboard employees on procedures, equipment, safety standards, and company expectations. Monitor work quality and ensure consistent adherence to cleaning and facility standards. Coach employees on performance and communicate updates, concerns, and achievements to management. Maintain inventory levels; order, receive, track, and distribute supplies and equipment as needed. Ensure proper maintenance, storage, safety standards, and repair of equipment. Enter data into software applications logging time and materials. Assists in maintaining all electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems in the building in coordination with the maintenance person. Performs painting and structural repairs to masonry, woodwork and furnishings of buildings. Assists with ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. Performs monthly changing, inspecting and log chart on all emergency exit signs, HVAC filters and fire extinguishers. Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. Support special projects, events, and departmental needs; provide coverage during staffing shortages. Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals and waste.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities A high school diploma and at least five (5+) years of relative experience and two (2) years' experience in a leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to operate machinery, equipment, small power tools, and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner. Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written.
