Job Description

This position requires the ability to read and record the readings of wager, gas, and electric meters and perform arithmetic calculations accurately and quickly. Work involves the cleaning, testing, repairing and maintaining of these meters and meter boxes. Work is performed with considerable independence. Ability to learn meter routes and follow route consistently. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with persons contacted in course of work. Ability to walk for long periods of time and work outside under various weather conditions. Knowledge of practices, methods and materials used in maintenance, repair and testing of water, electric and gas meters. Must be able pass a drug screen. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED Must have Florida valid drivers license. Reliable transportation and a working telephone is required. Hours Mon - Fri 40 hours per week Employer is willing to train.
