- Under general supervision install, remove, change, disconnect, and reconnect the Company's singlephase, network, and polyphase self-contained electric meters energized up to 260 volts.

- + Read meters as required for field orders and on schedule for cycle billing.

- + High School diploma or GED.
Valid State Driver's License Other Requirements:
+ This job requires "recommended" test results from HireVue Meter Servicer Virtual Job Tryout. This assessment is completed online, is untimed, and typically takes about 45 minutes to complete. Please refer to the Employment Test Prep section of our website https://www.aep.com/careers/testprep/ + Within 24 months of employment, successfully complete the Company's training and qualification program for this classification including: classroom instruction; written testing; 560 hours of on-the-job mentoring; and job performance demonstrations. + Work overtime as needed, including extended daily shifts and weekends. + Work late shifts as needed. + Work in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. + Proficiently use computers and applications related to this classification. + Effectively communicate with other employees, customers, and the general public in a courteous and appropriate manner. + Promote a positive image of the Company to customers and the general public. + Comply with all aspects of the AEP Corporate Code of Conduct. + Report hazards, unsatisfactory conditions, irregular conditions, and abnormalities. + Attend and participate in training as assigned and assist in the training of other employees.- What you'll get:
