Overview This position is located at PPL's Lancaster Service Center. This is a union position. The successful candidate will be a member of IBEW Local 1600 The starting hourly rate for this position is $31.832 Responsibilities 1. Contacts customers having overdue accounts by delivering customer notices. 2. Records on pertinent forms, meter and customer data required for customer and other accounting records. 3. Observes and reports hazardous wiring conditions, diversions or metering irregularities, building renovations and other factors affecting conditions of use or rate classification for correction by customer or company. 4. Operates light truck, passenger or four-wheel drive vehicle in the performance of duties, complying fully with applicable governmental laws and regulations. 5. Performs miscellaneous duties, such as: reading meters in accordance with Company's procedures, and inspects meters. 6. Delivers literature/informational material to customers, complying fully with applicable provisions of US Postal Laws and Regulations. 7. Observes Servicemen in the performance of their duties. 8. Uses a computer for job training and daily job completion. 9. Performs such other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
