DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include, but not limited to the following: Accurately read meters Removal of meters for repairs / setting meters for new service Meter testing Non-payment service shutoff / collections from customer and reconnections of service Work productively and efficiently without taking shortcuts Required to be on call one week of each month

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license along with a good driving record Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess basic mathematic and writing skills Being in good physical condition with ability to walk meter routes is required Appropriate personal appearance and good communications skills required due to contact with customers Available to work overtime and report to work after hours in response to emergencies Abilities to work in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold work in all weather conditions It is the policy of the Utility Board to provide equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
