Job Overview Join our team as a Water Meter Reader / Laborer and become a vital part of ensuring accurate water usage measurement and infrastructure maintenance. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for reading water meters, performing field service tasks, and assisting with utility locating and equipment repairs. Duties Read water meters accurately across assigned routes, recording data precisely for billing and record-keeping purposes Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on water meters and related equipment using hand tools and power tools Conduct site inspections to ensure meter integrity, identify potential issues, and report any damages or anomalies Aid in the installation, removal, or replacement of meters and associated infrastructure as needed Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and field service equipment Excellent attention to detail for accurate data collection and reporting This role is paid, offering valuable hands-on experience in utility operations while supporting essential water services.
