Job Description

Rebuild Technician I DeSHAZO, LLC United States, Alabama, Alabaster 190 Airpark Industrial Road (Show on map) Jun 17, 2026 Apply Job Type Full-time Description The Rebuild Technician will be responsible for but not limited to the dis-assembling, cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting, painting, and re-assembling crane and hoist parts and components. Technician will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical deficiencies and be able to repair or replace the equipment as well as program PLC's and Variable Frequency Drives. Technician will also perform duties such as rigging and operating overhead cranes, grinding, fabricating, and welding.
DUTIES:
Inspects and troubleshoots incoming crane and hoist components for defects, wear, and abnormal issues. Disassemble components completely and reassemble. Provide repair recommendations to Rebuild Manager Perform repairs by welding, assembling, operating press, grinding, painting, etc. Rigging and operating overhead cranes Requirements High school graduate or equivalent 1-2 Years Maintenance or Millwright Experience Basic Mechanical and Electrical knowledge. Overhead Crane Use/ Service Knowledge Preferred but not required. Possess a Valid Driver's License Own basic hand tools. Ability to read and understand machining and fabrication blueprints Ability to read tape measure and various scales. Ability to read and understand job specifications Ability to follow through and complete assignments with minimal supervision Possess a positive attitude to learn and grow, be punctual, and willing to work overtime to complete projects as necessary
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday. Lift /Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted. Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently. Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance. Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine). Possess depth perception and peripheral vision. Possess the ability to hear.
WORKING CONDITIONS
