Industrial Millwright, Fayette, Alabama - Night Shift At Interfor, we're more than a lumber company - we're helping build the homes, businesses, schools, and communities that people rely on every day. As a Night Shift Industrial Millwright in Fayette, AL , you'll play a critical role in keeping our sawmill operating safely and efficiently by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment that powers our operation. Working as part of our maintenance team, you'll apply your mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skills to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support production performance. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced trades professionals looking to grow their careers with a leading forest products company. The pay range for this position is from $30.57 per hour up to $41.33 per hour, based on skill level and experience, plus a Night Shift Premium , and Quarterly Production Bonus . What You'll Do Read and understand equipment drawings and blueprints. Perform routine preventative maintenance duties. Cut, weld, and perform fabrication work with different types of steel. Assess and repair machinery and hydraulic problems in a timely manner. Determine shaft sizes, measure up, and build shafts for replacement. Recognize and change sprockets, bearings, and chains etc. Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation. Submit work requests and complete work orders. What You'll Bring 2 to 4 years of millwright level experience. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety. Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. Ability and willingness to work a permanent night shift schedule. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in varying seasonal climate conditions. High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred. Manufacturing, sawmill, lumber, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
