The Role We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Industrial Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our remanufacturing facility in Tarrant, Alabama . This role is responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment. The Industrial Maintenance Millwright plays a critical role in ensuring machinery uptime, operational efficiency, and workplace safety through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. This position reports to plant leadership and works closely with operations and maintenance teams to support production goals. What You'll Do Maintenance & Equipment Support Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and manufacturing equipment Set up controls and adjust settings for machinery to ensure optimal performance Observe machine operations and troubleshoot malfunctions or defects Perform daily preventive maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment Utilize tools including wrenches and other millwright equipment Technical Execution Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Maintain and troubleshoot systems including: Bearings, belts, conveyors, motors, and drives Sensors, pneumatics, and hydraulics Lighting and electrical controls DC-powered lifts and PLC systems Apply knowledge of electrical principles (AC/DC, 480V, 3-phase systems) Perform industrial threading and apply proper lubrication techniques Safety & Compliance Conduct routine safety checks to ensure all guarding and safety devices are operational Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards Quality & Performance Perform quality checks using gauges, precision measuring devices, and visual inspection Document results where applicable Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability Who You Are Education & Experience Experience in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or similar manufacturing roles preferred Welding experience is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues effectively Self‑motivated, dependable, and detail‑oriented Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of at least 25 pounds Capable of standing for extended periods and frequent walking Comfortable working in a moderate to high activity manufacturing environment Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive compensation based on knowledge and experience Stable, growing organization with a strong track record of success Opportunity to work in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment Culture focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement Long‑term career growth opportunities within
