4/10s; overtime and weekends may be required Job Summary Legacy Group Holdings is hiring experienced Industrial Millwrights for work at a secured industrial facility in the Mobile area. Candidates must have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and aligning industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. A current, valid TWIC card is required. Applicants without an active TWIC card will not be considered for this position. Responsibilities Install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, and repair industrial machinery Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify needed repairs Install and replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, couplings, conveyors, shafts, and related components Perform equipment alignment, leveling, and precision measurements Use dial indicators, levels, micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools Read and follow blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work instructions Assist with rigging, lifting, positioning, and setting machinery Safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and related equipment Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections Follow lockout/tagout and all site-specific safety procedures Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and completed work to supervision Required Qualifications Previous industrial millwright or mechanical-maintenance experience Current and valid TWIC card Knowledge of industrial machinery, bearings, couplings, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors Experience with mechanical alignment and precision measuring tools Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, and equipment drawings Basic rigging knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and complete mechanical repairs Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in physically demanding positions Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or changing shifts when required Dependable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to pass all required pre-employment and site-access screening Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of industrial millwright experience Experience in ports, shipyards, manufacturing plants, steel mills, paper mills, terminals, or other heavy-industrial environments Conveyor-system maintenance experience Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification NCCER Millwright certification Forklift, aerial-lift, or rigging certifications Work Environment This position is located at an active industrial facility. Employees may be exposed to moving machinery, noise, dust, grease, outdoor weather, changing temperatures, and physically demanding working conditions. All employees must follow company and site safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain awareness of surrounding equipment and operations.
