Job Description

Trim Installer Location:
Shreveport, LA Pay:
$16.00•$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break) Occasional Saturdays may be required. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Trim Installer to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, assembling, and installing truck body and equipment components while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, fabrication skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install equipment by reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Fabricate and assemble structural components from raw materials. Perform MIG welding according to specifications and quality standards. Test and inspect completed installations to ensure proper functionality. Conduct quality checks to ensure customer requirements are met. Troubleshoot equipment and body-related issues as needed. Repair or replace damaged or defective components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude at all times. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Assist in completing projects on time and within budget. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Basic mechanical knowledge. Basic electrical knowledge. Basic hydraulic knowledge. Ability to perform MIG welding and fabrication work. Ability to read and interpret installation drawings, manuals, and parts diagrams. Knowledge of common hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the job.
