WELDER / INSTALL TECH

+ Benefits Work-truck upfitting shop needs a Welder/Install Tech who can weld and bolt-on equipment the right way. This role is a mix of MIG welding + installing work-truck gear —liftgates, racks, storage, lighting, and other equipment that goes on service bodies, flatbeds, and dump bodies. If the goal is steady hours, solid pay, and hands-on builds that stay moving, this is that job. What the work is MIG welding mounts, brackets, and components Installing truck equipment: liftgates, ladder racks, storage setups, accessories Installing and securing safety lighting and handling basic 12-volt wiring Using hand/power tools to fit, mount, and finish parts on trucks and trailers Reading diagrams/prints and following build instructions Keeping a clean bay and working safe with PPE Working with the crew to keep builds on schedule What matters for this role 3+ years hands-on welding/fabrication/install experience Comfortable with 12V wiring / lighting installs Solid with common shop tools (drills, grinders, impact, etc.) Can follow install diagrams and instructions Valid driver's license + reliable transportation Shows up on time, works clean, works safe Pay + extras $28-$35/hr DOE Overtime available Health
