Job Description

Position Summary Seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to support the ORCM Reliability & Maintenance team in the Delaware Basin. This role is responsible for maintaining compressor systems and other rotating equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while supporting production, reliability, and cost-reduction initiatives. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe work environment and uphold environmental compliance standards. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed compressors and related equipment. Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and maintenance resources. Manage work order backlog to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform root cause failure analysis. Support compressor surveillance, optimization, and OPEX reduction initiatives. Coordinate contractor support when approved by supervision. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve business objectives. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in all work areas. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. 1-3+ years of industrial maintenance experience on rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, and VRUs. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Knowledge of oil & gas production and surface equipment. Ability to perform root cause failure analysis. Basic automation and electrical troubleshooting capabilities. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience maintaining high-speed compressors and engines in the 500-2500 HP range. Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications. Physical & Safety Requirements Ability to work in outdoor industrial environments with exposure to weather and operational hazards. Ability to climb stairs, walk long distances, and access all areas of the facility. Ability to lift, carry, stoop, and reach as required. Must be able to wear required PPE. Ability to respond to audible and visual alarms. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ideal Background Candidates with compressor mechanic, mechanical technician, maintenance technician, rotating equipment technician, or compression technician experience within the oil & gas industry will be strong fits for this opportunity.
