Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing mechanical and manufacturing equipment. This role requires expertise in preventive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for safety. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Interpret blueprints and schematics to carry out repairs and maintenance. Utilize electrical troubleshooting knowledge to diagnose and fix issues. Engage in welding, pipefitting, and fabrication tasks as necessary. Maintain hydraulic presses and other industrial equipment. Essential Skills 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment. Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance. Ability to read and understand blueprints, maintenance manuals, and safety procedures. Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift certified or willingness to become certified. Experience with hydraulic press maintenance.
