Job Description
Company A-1 Alternative Fuel Systems is an alternative fuel vehicle manufacturer that specializes in the manufacturing, and installation of alternative fuel systems for new vehicles. We are looking for a Technician/Installer for our Fresno facility. This is an opportunity for a full time position (7am-3:30pm, M-F) that offers full benefits (healthcare, matching 401K, paid vacation/holidays), and tremendous opportunity for growth. General Summary of Position Technician/Installer will be responsible for: removing gasoline fuel systems from new vehicles, assembling alternative fuel systems, and installing alternative fuel systems. Technician/Installer will be trained by, and work directly underneath certified alternative fuel technicians. All technicians will report to a foreman who will report to the facility's operations manager. What we are looking for The ideal candidate will have light fabrication experience (welding, plasma cutter, etc.), will have experience working on automobiles, or will have experience working on a manufacturing assembly line, but this experience is not required. Must have experience working with your hands, and be willing to do manual labor. The ideal candidate will have excellent work ethic, take pride in his work, and be open/willing to learn new things. Must be a team player and have experience working in a team setting. Job Requirements

- Experience in the automotive field (working on automotive vehicles) is a plus
- Fabrication experience (welding, plasma cutting, etc.) is a plus
- Experience working on a manufacturing assembly line is a plus Duties
- Remove gasoline fuel systems from new vehicles
- Install alternative fuel systems on new vehicles - Wiring, drilling, plasma cutting, metal grinding, torquing bolts, mounting brackets, installing fuel lines, etc.
- Maintain a clean shop per company policy and Shop Manager's direction
- Perform other essential functions as assigned
