We have an opportunity at our Martinez Refinery in California and are seeking a talented Millwright Mechanic to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. The Millwright Mechanic position is responsible for the maintenance of process equipment and machinery. This includes Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Gearboxes, Motors, Fans, Blowers, Valves, and Specialty equipment.
Job Responsibilities May Include:
Maintain, repair, & overhaul process rotating machinery in a safe & efficient manner in both a shop and field environment. Able to use standard hand tools and battery operated tools Able to use precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Protractors, & Indicators). Interpreting tolerances and dimensions from drawings, sketches, & engineering documents. Operate various shop support equipment. (Saws, Forklifts, Overhead Cranes, Hydraulic presses, Bearing Heaters, Torches, Etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 4+ years Millwright/Mechanical Journeyman level work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess one of the following certifications in a Mechanical discipline: Union or Company Apprenticeship Trade School Journeyman level Machinist Previous refinery or chemical plant experience.
