Hydraulic Maintenance Technician Location:
Lynwood, CA Shift:
2nd Shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM, Monday-Friday)
Schedule:
Must be flexible to work later hours as needed.
Pay:
$80,000-$100,000/year Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and experienced in preventive maintenance and hydraulic diagnostics. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components. Perform preventive maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and system calibrations. Install and test hydraulic equipment to ensure proper operation. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow OSHA and company safety standards. Respond to emergency repairs and support equipment reliability. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. 3-5 years of hydraulic maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses. Ability to read hydraulic schematics and use diagnostic equipment. Basic welding, fabrication, and computer skills preferred. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus.
