COPY LINK link Adecco is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing facility in the Stockton, CA area. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Safety and reliability are top priorities in this position. The Maintenance Mechanic will: Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment issues in a manufacturing environment Communicate regularly with supervisors and maintenance leadership regarding assignments and machine status Provide consistent updates on equipment condition, maintenance progress, and potential production impacts Inspect and maintain motors, gearboxes, presses, welders, and roll forming equipment Support machine changeovers including welders, mills, and punch machines Perform preventive maintenance and rmend improvements to maintenance schedules Replace worn parts, fluids, andponents as needed Test and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Identify and report critical spare parts and consumable needs Conduct routine inspections following standard operating procedures (SOPs) Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues Respond promptly to maintenance and production requests Prepare reports and provide updates on maintenance activities and machine performance Perform general facility maintenance as assigned Maintain a clean andanized work area following 5S standards Operate material handling equipment, including propane forklifts Support continuous improvement initiatives Assist in training other maintenance team members as needed
Required:
6+ years of experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment Experience working with presses and mills Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical systems (single and 3-phase power) Basic understanding of PLC systems and machine operation Welding experience for minor repairs and adjustments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy Strongmunication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and accountability Ability to work a 4x10 schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week), with scheduled workdays Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Additional Requirements:
Basicputer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to read and write clearly Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations Familiarity with HMI systems is a plus Forklift operation experience preferred
Pay Details:
