Job Description

Job Description Pay Rate:
$27.01 per hour (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain required records, reporting in writing any uncorrected mechanical/electrical defects and replacement parts to the supervisor. Assist in performing all phases of maintenance, including electrical mechanical systems (i.e. fabricating, welding, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing required preventative maintenance). Other duties as assigned including general cleaning and/or assisting other Crews if required, and the following: Coordinating equipment downtime, services, and problems with area operators. Detecting potential mechanical/electrical problems and planning for repairs. Coordinating equipment downtime, services, and problems with area operators. Qualifications:
2-4 years of production equipment maintenance experience. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Must have ability to lead and train lower-level maintenance personnel.
Must be able to:
work in high places, climb ladders and stairs, work from ladders/scaffolds, work in pits and silos (confined spaces). Bend, kneel and walk frequently. Move heavy objects and lift 50 lbs. Must be familiar with all phases of maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems. Must have knowledge of mill flow patterns, dry as well as liquid. Be familiar with proper lubricating technique for all mill equipment. Be able to perform routine services and troubleshoot and repair all mill equipment. Be able to weld and fabricate to repair all mill equipment, and installation of new equipment as needed. Be able to make decisions and judgments on an ongoing basis. Be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed and able to show up on time and as scheduled.
