Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, and documentation of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities for production equipment. This role works independently as well as collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. The position primarily focuses on production equipment maintenance but may also assist with facility maintenance when needed. All work must comply with FDA, DEA, EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety regulations. Why Join Our Client? Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manual, semi-automatic, and automatic production equipment Troubleshoot equipment downtime using schematics, manuals, and control system interfaces Conduct complete equipment tear-downs, repairs, and rebuilds Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems and components Maintain spare parts, equipment inventories, and maintenance documentation Support maintenance and repairs of HVAC, refrigeration, water purification, and other facility systems Respond quickly to equipment emergencies while following safety and quality procedures Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision testing equipment to complete repairs Participate in safety and environmental health programs Assist with preventive maintenance procedures and purchase orders for parts or equipment as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with team members to complete assigned work efficiently and on schedule Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience Minimum 3 years of equipment or machine maintenance experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Knowledge of pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, electrical wiring, and PLCs Experience working with servo-driven equipment Strong organizational and documentation abilities Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Experience with 503B regulations, cGMP standards, and USP guidelines is a plus Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications including
Outlook, Word, and Excel Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, or sit for extended periods Ability to work in confined or low-level spaces Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to maintain gowning qualifications for regulated production environments
