Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment and electrical systems within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, welding, and control wiring to ensure optimal operation of machinery. The Millwright Mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our equipment through precise maintenance and repair activities. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components. Repair and replace faulty equipment parts, ensuring minimal downtime. Conduct electrical troubleshooting using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Install, modify, and maintain low voltage control wiring and electro-hydraulic controls. Read hydraulic and electrical schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and system modifications. Perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair or fabrication projects. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and diagnostics for future reference. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage control wiring and electro-hydraulic controls. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Experience with hydraulic systems reading and diagnostics. Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication purposes. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment troubleshooting and repair. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and document work performed. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
