Job Description
Millwright (Hydraulic/Electro-Hydraulic Controls) We are seeking a Millwright to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely—especially in manufacturing and mining environments. You'll work on mechanical systems as well as electro-hydraulic controls and low voltage control wiring, reading both hydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Install and maintain heavy machinery, including pumps, motors, and associated mechanical systems Perform welding tasks to fabricate and repair components as needed Service and troubleshoot electro-hydraulic control systems Perform low voltage control wiring for control circuits, sensors, solenoids, interlocks, and field connections Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to support repairs and diagnostics Diagnose and resolve mechanical and control-related issues to minimize downtime Travel to job sites for maintenance and installation work (up to 30% travel) Work Environment Full-time position (typically 40+ hours per week) Travel required (approx. 30%), particularly to mine sites for maintenance and installation tasks Work is safety-focused and may involve demanding industrial conditions Qualifications Minimum 5 years of millwright experience (preferred) Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic/electrical schematics Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude Physically fit to handle heavy machinery and work in demanding conditions MSHA training preferred If you're a hands-on millwright with a background in electro-hydraulic controls and low voltage wiring, apply today with your resume.
